Netflix: The Witcher

The Witcher season 2 has been confirmed for a while now. Netflix renewed the series next season before the first season even aired on the network. But since then, things were quiet regarding the future of the Witcher, until now.

The Witcher Season 2: Pre-Production Starting Very Soon

Henry Cavill (who plays Geralt of Rivia) released a New Year message on his Instagram thanking all the fans who watched and enjoyed the first season of The Witcher. Speaking with his 10 million followers on Instagram, he said:

Hello everybody, I’m back. I have been enjoying my Christmas break, perhaps a little too much at some points, but now it is back to work. Pre-production will be starting very shortly on Witcher season two. I see that you’ve all enjoyed Witcher season one, thank you very much for that, and I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’ll be giving you updates on here as time goes on.

Keep in mind that this video message was released on January 10, 2020, so the pre-production for season 2 of The Witcher should be starting very shortly from now. What are your expectations for The Witcher’s Season 2?

There have been rumors about Netflix already ordering the third season of The Witcher. Though, we don’t have much detail about that at this moment.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the latest release in the Video Game franchise released on May 19, 2015, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The title was released later in 2019 on Nintendo Switch.
