Xur, the mysterious exotic vendor in Destiny 2, returns every weekend with a rotating selection of exotic gear and rare items. If you’re new, Xur is an Agent of the Nine who pops up at a fixed location, offering players a chance to buy exotic armor, weapons, and more.
Previously, Xur had multiple locations where he could show up randomly each week, but there’s been a bit of a shake-up recently, thanks to The Final Shape expansion, which gave Xur a slight rework, and a fixed location in the Tower.
In The Final Shape, Xur now carries not only the usual exotic weapons and armor but also rotating exotic catalysts and even specific class-based items.

Where is Xur: Xur Location (October 4-8)
Xur is hanging out at the Tower Bazaar from October 4 to 8. To get there, start in the Tower Courtyard. Head right past Banshee-44 and continue toward the Tower Bazaar. Once you enter the main bazaar area, take a right into a small alleyway where Xur will be waiting.
Exotic Armor: 41 Strange Coins

The Huckleberry
- Ride the Bull: Increased rate of fire and recoil while you’re holding down the trigger. Kills with this weapon reload a portion of the magazine.
- Rampage: Kills with this weapon temporarily grant increased damage. Stacks 3x.
Graviton Lance
- Black Hole: Second shot of a burst rips a hole through space-time, doing high damage and recoil with no falloff.
- Cosmology: Kills with this weapon cause enemy targets to detonate and spawn Void projectiles that track targets.
The Prospector
- Excavation: Hold to fire grenades. Release to detonate all live grenades simultaneously. Grenades stick to surfaces and set targets on fire. Defeating targets creates Arc explosions.
- Full Auto Trigger System: Holding down the trigger will fire this weapon at full auto.
Hawkmoon
- Paracausal Shot: Final blows and precision hits with Hawkmoon grant stacks of Paracausal Charge. The final round in the magazine deals bonus damage based on the number of stacks. Stowing Hawkmoon on the final round removes this bonus.
- Snapshot Sights: Faster time to aim down sights. Stability is increased.
