For many core fans, The Last of Us Part II is not what they expected it to be thanks to the leaked footage recently. Now, many fans of the first installment in the franchise are furious and are reportedly threatening the game director behind The Last of Us Part II – Neil Druckman.
In a Twitter thread, Druckman revealed that he is indeed getting death threats over The Last of Us Part II which is really sad. Replying to the game director at Santa Monica Studios (God of War), Cory Barlog, Neil said, “Sorry, Cory. You haven’t hit the necessary death threat quota. Maybe next year.”

The Last of Us Part II is indeed one of the most ambitious video games of 2020 along with Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima which is hitting PlayStation 4 on July 19, 2020.
TLOU Part 2 was previously delayed due to logistics limitations but got a released date after the whole story plot got leaked by, now identified “hacker,” who was not related to Sony nor Naughty Dog studios, according to Sony.
