Back in April 2020, VGC reported that Guerrilla Games is working on an unannounced open-world game according to the two listings found on the company’s website. Shortly after, reports came in suggesting that Guerrilla is planning a Horizon Zero Dawn trilogy and that “Sony Interactive Entertainment has greenlit ambitious plans for the post-apocalyptic open-world franchise.”

A new job listing for Lead (core) Game Designer just went up earlier today as per Company’s LinkedIn profile, suggests that the Guerilla Games are indeed looking for a candidate who has past experience with action and open-world titles.

“You have shipped at least one Action/Open World game with critical acclaim. You have at least 10 years’ experience in a Senior Design role and approximately 5 years of experience in leading and mentoring a team. You have a deep understanding of all the various aspects and phases of game development, from early concepts to post-launch support.”

Sony’s PS5 event is just around the corner. Many rumors strongly suggest that Sony will showcase a new Horizon Zero Dawn game during the event. We’ll have to wait and find out if these rumors are legit or not. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments!

Horizon Zero Dawn is now available on PlayStation 4.
