Announced in September 2021, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection has now been rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board. (ESRB)
The collection was announced during this year’s PlayStation Showcase event. It includes the remastered version of both, Uncharted: A Theif’s End, and A Lost Legacy, for PlayStation 5, and PC.
For players on PC, the remasters will be available for purchase on Steam and Epic Games Store. The game was first rated earlier this month on November 4, 2021, by the Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) in Korea.
Shortly after, the Australian Classification Board also rated the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on November 8, 2021, as reported by VGC.
Now, the title has finally been rated by the ESRB as well, suggesting that the release date announcement might be soon.
According to the infamous leaked Nvidia GeForce NOW list, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is scheduled to release on February 7, 2022, on PC. If this list is to be believed, the remastered collection will arrive on both PC and PlayStation 5, in February 2022.
You can check out the rating summary below.
“This is a collection of two action-adventure games in the Uncharted franchise. Players assume the roles of Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazier, explorers searching for valuable artifacts while fending off villainous rivals. From a third-person perspective, players explore ruins, collect treasure, and battle enemy soldiers and other human characters.
“Characters use pistols, machine guns, shotguns, grenades, and blades to attack each other; combat is highlighted by realistic gunfire, large explosions, and blood-splatter effects. Some areas allow players to use stealth takedowns and/or melee attacks (e.g., neck snapping, fist fighting, sword fighting) to incapacitate enemies.
“A handful of sequences depict characters getting stabbed or beaten with clubs; some scenes depict corpses or wounded characters with bloodstained skin/clothes. During the course of the game, characters can be seen smoking cigarettes or cigars; a handful of scenes depict characters drinking bottles of beer or glasses of scotch. The words “sh*t” and “a*shole” appear in the dialogue.”
