This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a job ad for Bungie’s competitive project. In fact, we have been seeing job ads for Bungie’s competitive games since 2020.
There have been several implications that the company is working on a new Destiny competitive game as well–one of the major ones being a new job listing posted last month.
Recently, Jordan Patz, Design Director behind Apex Legends Mobile at Respawn Entertainment joined Bungie (opens in new tab) as Game Director. It’s unclear as to what project Patz will be directing at Bungie. The company has also hired Mark Yelverton, a former 343i Director of Business and Operations.
