How to Get Rake Angle in Destiny 2
Rake Angle is a powerful Kinetic Stasis glaive in Destiny 2 that you can obtain from Nightfall strikes when it’s featured as the weapon of the week. As a Nightfall-exclusive weapon, it also has an Adept version, which can be earned by completing Grandmaster Nightfalls.
If you’re aiming to target-farm Rake Angle, you can focus it at Commander Zavala in the Tower once you’ve unlocked it in your Collections. This requires obtaining at least one drop from a Nightfall first.
Rake Angle PvE God Roll in Destiny 2
Here’s our recommended PvE god roll for the Rake Angle in Destiny 2, ideal for maximizing damage uptime and synergy with Stasis builds:
Column | Perks |
---|---|
Barrel | Auxiliary Reserves (+15 Shield Duration, -10 Reload Speed) |
Magazine | Appended Mag (+20 Magazine) |
Trait (3rd Column) | Replenishing Aegis – Blocking damage partially reloads this weapon from reserves. (Rimestealer is also good) |
Trait (4th Column) | Chill Clip – Direct hits with the top half of the magazine cause a detonation that slows nearby targets. |
Origin Trait | Stunning Recovery – Stunning a Champion refills your magazine, triggers health regeneration, and improves recovery for a short duration. |
Masterwork | Shield Duration (+10 Shield Duration) |
Weapon Mod | Backup Mag (+1 Magazine) |
Since this weapon has a pretty low magazine size, the goal here is to get as many shots in your magazine as possible, while also creating a perk combination that synergizes with your Stasis build and stunning Champions.
Auxiliary Reserves in the barrel slot to boost shield duration (+15) at the cost of some reload speed (-10). Then, add Appended Mag for a +20 increase to magazine size.
Don’t worry about the -10 Reload Speed from Auxiliary Reserves as the third column perk, Replenishing Agis, takes care of exactly that. Chill Clip to slow and freeze targets. Shield Duration Masterwork further supports Replenishing Aegis which will allow you to block incoming shots while also reloading your weapon.
This setup ensures that Rake Angle consistently freezes and slows targets without the hassle of constant reloading. The combination of Chill Clip and Stasis allows for quick Champion stuns: the first shot will stun Overload Champions while shattering a Stasis crystal with Chill Clip will also stun Unstoppable Champions.
