PlayStation 5 is the next big thing for Sony. It was officially announced back in 2019, on October 8, in a blog-post by PlayStation. Jim Ryan (Sony Interactive Entertainment president) stated in his post that PlayStation 5 will be launching in the holidays 2020. While we don’t know how much this new console will cost, we do have some information about the reveal date for Sony’s next PlayStation console, as per the rumors.
PlayStation 5 to be Revealed Next Month?
Since the official announcement, there have been many rumors and leaks circulating on the web; most of them are totally fake. Now, let’s talk about the reveal event that Sony has planned for PlayStation 5. Many rumors have it that Sony’s next-gen console PlayStation 5, will be revealed in an event in early February. According to the Addmoore on Twitter, “Rumors from major publications such as EA, Ubisoft, Square Enix, and Activision suggests that PlayStation will be doing their reveal event early February and invites will be sent out next week keep your eyes peeled.”

That’s not all. There was an Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok leak earlier this month which also stated that the title will be officially revealed at Sony’s PlayStation 5 reveal event on February 12, 2020. While these are still rumors and leaks, we do suggest you take them with a grain of salt and wait for the official announcement for next week (if there are any).
On the other hand, PlayStation 5’s controller has also been leaked in the patent images. According to the leak, Dualshock 5 will have back paddles integrated. PlayStation officially announced the Dualshock 4’s back button attachment on December 17, 2019. So, it makes sense that they want to add this feature to PS5’s controller. What are your thoughts on this?
PlayStation 4 was officially released on November 15, 2013, in the United States and Canada. PlayStation 5 release date is expected in the holidays of 2020.
