Earlier today, Jason Schreier (Kotaku) shared his thoughts on how it would make total sense if Sony skips this year’s E3 press conference just like they did last year. Instead, revealing PlayStation 5 in their exclusive event.
Shortly after, Daniel Ahmad also known as ZhugeEX retweeted Jason’s tweet with a comment saying, “Should hear more about this today.” This could mean that we’ll be getting more PlayStation 5 news from Sony about the event that’s rumored to be on February 12, 2020, or it could be something else entirely.

But, one thing is clear, PlayStation 5 announcement is close and we can all feel it. With recent Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok leaks and rumors from publishers (EA, Ubisoft, etc), I think we’ll definitely be getting PlayStation 5 reveal dates real soon. What do you think about this?
Jason Schreier also mentioned in Kotaku’s podcast recently that Sony will on have PlayStation 5-only titles at launch. If this is true, then it’s a bit of a bummer for all the fans of multi-platform games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, etc.
PlayStation 4 was officially released on November 15, 2013, in the United States and Canada. PlayStation 5 release date is expected in the holidays of 2020.
