New leaks and in-game lore hint at fan-favorite heroes, their abilities, and a new map coming in Marvel Rivals Season 5.

Marvel Rivals has been on a steady roll since its late 2024 launch, and NetEase has kept the updates coming fast. Season 4 introduced Angela, a Vanguard with a spear and shield, while the mid-season 4.5 update brought Daredevil.

Now that the dust has settled on Daredevil’s arrival, all eyes are turning to what’s coming next, and Season 5 might just be the most exciting one yet. Thanks to a mix of data leaks, in-game teases, and some voice lines, we’ve got a strong sense of who’s on the way.

Marvel Rivals Season 5 Heroes Seemingly Leaked

According to a new video by YouTuber Dylbobz and earlier leaks from dataminer X0XLEAK, it looks like Marvel Rivals Season 5 will finally add Rogue and Gambit as the next playable heroes in the game. The update is reportedly romance-themed, and the in-game Season 5 teaser string even says love “guides hearts home” and adds “an eternal touch of romance.”

Check out the full datamined text string for Season 5 below.

“Countless legends have been weaved across the Timestream Entanglement, but love is surely the most moving chapter of them all. Like the stars in the night sky, it silently guides hearts home, adding a gentle tether even amid the fiercest battles. This moment of peace is precious because of love, infusing your legendary saga with an eternal touch of romance.”

Voice lines in the game further back this up. There are direct references to Rogue’s engagement ring and her relationship with Gambit. In Season 4’s gallery card, a letter from the Grandmaster teases phrases like “the perfect Gambit” and “play your cards right and they don’t drain every last bit of your life force,” along with lines that clearly point to Rogue’s life-draining powers. So, yeah—these two are basically confirmed in everything but name.

Check out the voicelines referencing Rogue/Gambit in Marvel Rivals below:

  • Storm: “I am happy that you and Remy have chosen to fully embrace your love. “You would use Rogue’s engagement ring to run from a battle. That’s low, even for you.”
  • Black Widow: “That ring of yours, the gem looks familiar.”

New Map in Marvel Rivals Season 5: Collector’s Theme Park

That same Grandmaster letter mentions “unfortunate events” at the Menagerie belonging to “my fellow Elder of the Universe, the Collector.” That lines up with a possible new map in Season 5, set inside the Collector’s Theme Park, a location with zones such as the Garden, Arena, and Private Gallery, where relics like the Infinity Stones and Tesseract are kept.

So, based on these teasers, it looks like Marvel Rivals Season 5 will add a new map in Collector’s Themed Park.

As always, none of this is officially confirmed, so it’s best to treat these leaks with a grain of salt. Still, with Daredevil now live, Season 5 is expected to launch next week on November 14, 2025.

On a related note, NetEase recently said the team is allowed to introduce original characters in Marvel Rivals, adding a “stay tuned” when asked if any are already in development. That means future seasons might include heroes not pulled from Marvel canon.

What do you think? Are Rogue and Gambit the right picks for Season 5? And would you want to fight through the Collector’s Theme Park on day one?
