Bungie has shared its full list of Exotic armor changes coming in the Destiny 2 Renegades expansion.
Destiny 2’s next major expansion, Renegades, is almost here, launching on December 2, 2025. Bungie has been slowly rolling out updates ahead of release. The expansion takes players back to Mars, with new story missions, the Lawless Frontier activity, a new Blaster weapon type, the Praxic Blade Exotic sword, the Order system, and a reworked progression system.
Over the last few months, Bungie has been open about the problems players have called out since Edge of Fate. The team repeatedly said Renegades is meant to fix that. Seasonal Power will carry over between Seasons, Unstable Cores will be removed completely, and vault space is getting a big bump.

Last week, the studio dropped a long post covering every weapon-related update coming in Renegades. Today, Bungie followed that up with the second part: a full article focused only on Exotic armor tuning for the expansion. This new preview breaks down each piece, getting adjusted.
In this article, we’ll cover every Exotic armor change Bungie has shared so far for Renegades.
All Exotic Armor Changes in Destiny 2 Renegades
The new details come straight from Bungie’s armor tuning preview article released today. According to the devs, 18 Exotic armor pieces are being tuned for Destiny 2 Renegades.

Hunter Exotic Armor
Graviton Forfeit
- Now grants improved grenade, melee, and class ability recharge rates for a moderate duration each time you become invisible.
- Effect stacks up to three times.
- Effect time does not deplete while you are invisible.
- At three stacks of the buff, successive triggers additionally grant a portion of Void Overshield.

- This only applies to allies and not to the Hunter themself. Shaxx is watching.

Renegades also brings the new Equilibrium dungeon, arriving on December 13, 2025, with a full 48-hour Contest Mode race. Bungie has also released the full content calendar for Renegades, which you can check out here.
Apart from that, Bungie has sent out a new survey asking players about possible future features. The list includes things like unvaulted campaigns, Sparrow Racing League, clan upgrades, new Gambit ideas, and even NPC sidekicks. It looks like the studio is testing the waters to see what long-term updates players actually want.
