According to a new report, the long-awaited Battlefield 2042 beta has been delayed until early October.
This comes from a reputable insider, Tom Henderson, who has been the front face of every major leak for both Battlefield 2042 and Call of Duty Vanguard. The public beta for the next installment in the Battlefield franchise was previously rumored to go live on September 22, 2021.
However, according to the latest tweet from Henderson, the new dates for Battlefield 2042 beta seems to be October 6, 2021 (for early access), and October 8, 2021 (for open beta).
Tom further stated these new dates are found in “an internal system” on EA servers that he cannot share.
EA has also sent out an email to content creators and media outlets to not share any footage from the private recording session for Battlefield 2042 on September 22, 2021, according to Henderson.
“EA have now just sent emails to creators and media stating not to upload footage or information on September 22nd.”
Yesterday, a lot of industry insiders and media outlets reported that a potential Battlefield 2042 delay is imminent, which was later officially announced by EA via a tweet on the official Battlefield Twitter account.
The new worldwide release date for Battlefield 2042 is November 19, 2021, which is exactly two weeks after the release of Call of Duty Vanguard.
