Bungie: Destiny 2

When Bungie announced that Destiny 2 was coming to PC back in 2017, the majority of the community requested Bungie to add Cross-Play in Destiny 2. This will save a lot of time invested in the game as players who want to shift to a different platform wouldn’t have to grind every single thing all over again. And after almost 2 years, Bungie finally delivered this feature which was officially released on August 21, 2019. Now, players are asking if Bungie wants to add Cross-Play in Destiny 2 in the future.

On Twitter, a player asked Bungie if there are any plans on implementing this feature in Destiny 2, and Bungie replied, “Cross-play is definitely something we’re interested in exploring more in the future.” With the majority of AAA titles now supporting this feature (Call of Duty, Fortnite, etc), it seems Destiny 2 will get this feature sooner or later, perhaps, with the release of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

But if they do add this feature in the game, they need to add an option to turn this off as well. As not everyone likes to play against PC players as they clearly have an advantage in gameplay. What do you think about it? Let us know in the comments!

Destiny was released on September 9, 2014, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Destiny 2 was released on September 4, 2017, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It was released later in 2019 on Google Stadia.
