A new Destiny 2 leak has revealed some details about the upcoming Sundered Doctrine dungeon, including the exotic weapon, legendary loot, and more.
Destiny 2’s next dungeon, Sundered Doctrine, is right around the corner, set to launch this Friday, February 7. This dungeon will take players back to the Rhulk’s pyramid ship in Savathun’s Throne world. As with all dungeons, Sundered Doctrine will feature a new Exotic weapon and a set of Legendary weapons and armor.
Bungie has officially announced that there will be a dungeon race happening for Sundered Doctrine and the winning team will get the first-ever dungeon trophy. While the developer has been keeping most details about new loot under wraps, leaks have started surfacing, giving us a peek at what’s coming.
Dataminers have managed to pull some exciting loot info from the latest update, including the new dungeon exotic, four legendary weapons, a new title and seal, and even three emblems.
Leaked Destiny 2 Sundered Doctrine Dungeon Loot and Exotic Weapon Details
According to information shared in the Bungie Leaks Discord server, Sundered Doctrine will feature a brand-new exotic weapon, four legendary weapons, three emblems, and new armor set for each class.
First, let’s talk about the new dungeon exotic weapon.
Finality’s Auger – Solar Heavy Linear Fusion Rifle
The exotic weapon for the Sundered Doctrine dungeon is called Finality’s Auger, and it’s a Solar heavy linear fusion rifle with some really interesting perks. Check them out below!
- Ruinscribe’s Forge: [Alternate Weapon Action] to fire a special projectile that deploys a Ruinscribe Turret. This projectile costs 3 ammo to fire. Aim the projectile skyward to provide the clearest sight lines for the turret which will automatically shoot at nearby targets.
- Ruinscribe’s Beacon: While a Ruinscribe Turret is deployed, this weapon can paint targets with its laser projectiles. The turret prioritizes painted targets and fires more powerful munitions at them. [Alternate Weapon Action] to swap between normal fire and laser fire modes.
- Arrowhead Brake: Lightly vented barrel. Greatly controls recoil. Increases handling speed.
- Particle Repeater: Improves stability. Increases stability.
- Short-Action Stock: This weapon is especially easy to grip. Greatly increases handling speed.
Datamined information suggests that Finality’s Auger’s exotic catalyst adds the Bait and Switch perk to the weapon.
- Bait and Switch: Deal damage with all equipped weapons within a short time to give this weapon a damage boost.
Sundered Doctrine Legendary Loot
Alongside the exotic, the dungeon will also introduce four new legendary weapons. While we don’t have confirmed names yet, dataminers have managed to extract weapon models from the game files. Here’s what we know so far:
- Trace Rifle
- Scout Rifle
- Hand Cannon
- Shotgun
At this time, we don’t have any details on the new dungeon armor.
Sundered Doctrine Dungeon Title and Seal
Players who complete dungeon-specific triumphs will be able to earn a new title and seal, which is called Delver.
Sundered Doctrine New Emblems
In addition to loot, three new emblems have surfaced in the leaks:
- Last Erasure
- Pyramid’s Pilot
- Unsounded Depths
Like previous dungeon, Sundered Doctrine will have a Contest Mode race for the first 48 hours. Players who manage to complete the dungeon during the Contest mode will get a guaranteed drop of the new exotic weapon. As always with leaks, things could change before the official launch. So, we suggest taking everything with a grain of salt.
