In this article, you can find the complete schedule of Trials of Osiris release date, when it’s coming back, rewards, and returning maps.
Destiny 2: Trials of Osiris Release Date
In the Season of the Worthy ViDoc, Bungie revealed the release date for Trials of Osiris in Destiny 2. This competitive game mode will return on Friday, March 13, 2020.
According to dmg04 on Twitter, Trials of Osiris will be a Free-to-Play game mode for all Destiny 2 players, meaning you don’t need to buy a Season of the Worthy season pass to play this mode. But there’s a catch. As per dmg04, there will be some sort of requirements/quests to unlock the Trials of Osiris. “Yes. There will be requirements to unlock the mode. You can’t just make a new account and jump straight in,” says dmg04 on Twitter.
Returning Maps
With the Season of the Worthy, Bungie is re-adding three old Destiny 1 PvP maps back in the game. These include The Cauldron, Anomaly, and Exodus Blue. All three of these maps are classic Trials map if you’ve played the game back in the day. Check out our article that delves deep into the returning maps next season.
Returning Armor
Yes, we’re getting the OG Trials of Osiris armor from Destiny. There is one major change to this though, This new Trials of Osiris will have, what it looks like, Flawless ornaments which will make your armor glow when you’ve been flawless that week. It’s a pretty cool aesthetic change to the armor.
