Here are the god rolls for the VS Chill Inhibitor grenade launcher in Destiny 2, along with how you can unlock it.
Vesper’s Host, the dungeon introduced with Episode: Remnant, has brought with it a new set of Braytech-themed weapons, each with brand new perks and some top-tier God Roll combinations.
This includes VS Chill Inhibitor, a Heavy Stasis 150 RPM Rapid Fire Grenade Launcher, and perhaps the most discussed weapon at the time of writing.
How to Get VS Chill Inhibitor in Destiny 2
VS Chill Inhibitor can be obtained by completing the first or second encounters in the Vesper’s Host dungeon. It’s one of six possible drops from the Activation or Raeniks Unified encounters. You can check out our guide to the first two encounters here if you’re having trouble.
After you get your first drop of the weapon, you can also focus it through the second secret chest in the dungeon. However, it requires you to complete the Rogue Network quest, which we have a complete guide here.
Destiny 2 VS Chill Inhibitor PvE God Roll
The god roll we recommend here is focused on maximizing DPS while eliminating reload times.

Spike Grenades are still the king of the magazine slot for Grenade Launchers. Quick Launch boosts Velocity, and the Handling bump pairs nicely with Envious Arsenal and Bait and Switch.
The loop here is:
- Deal damage with your two other weapons
- Switch to VS Chill inhibitor to activate Envious Arsenal AND Bait and Switch
- Empty your ammo while Bait and Switch is active
- Repeat
If you’re having trouble nailing this roll as others have, Cascade Point is an acceptable alternative. Alternatives to Bait and Switch include Explosive Light or Chill Clip.
Destiny 2 VS Chill Inhibitor PvP God Roll
Heavy Grenade Launchers are a reliable option in PvP, with more focus on Blast Radius to up your damage drop-off. While VS Chill Inhibitor is definitely a weapon built for PvE, if you want a roll for the Crucible, here’s our pick:

Spike Grenades are still important as they’re the only way to one-shot a Guardian in the Crucible. Up your Blast Radius too, as while the grenade itself is affected by drop-off damage, the explosion is not, so we’ve upped that via the Volatile Launch and the Masterwork, with an Aerodynamics mod to get back the lost Velocity.
Chain Reaction for multi-kills if players make the mistake of grouping up, and Demolitionist for Grenade energy on each kill for your next duel.
