Bungie released an update 2.7.1 on Tuesday fixing a bunch of bugs, exploits and performance issues in Destiny 2. Previously, they disabled two exotic gauntlets in the game – Winter’s Guile (Warlock) and Wormgod Caress (Titan). This was because of a visual bug that showed inaccurate damage numbers. But, after the recent update, players found yet another exploit that manages to DPS five times more as compared to normal intended DPS.

Cheese Forever on YouTube has posted another video showing off how these exotics can be used to do 5x more damage using your melee ability. After a short period of time, Bungie disabled these two exotic armor pieces in the game to prevent the usage of this bug which is a good thing.

According to Bungie Help Twitter page, it says, “Due to an issue with the Winter’s Guile and Wormgod Caress exotic gauntlets retaining increased melee damage after their intended timer cooldowns, they have been disabled until a fix can be deployed at a later date.”

Have you tried this exploit in Destiny 2? Let us know in the comments!
