Destiny Rising fans finally have a date for the first Closed Beta Test and App Store pre-orders, with more details coming later this week.
It’s been a long wait for Destiny fans eager to get their hands on Destiny Rising, but the silence is finally over. After teasing new content at the NetEase 520 Conference, the team has now revealed two major updates: the first Closed Beta Test for Destiny Rising is officially on the way, and App Store pre-orders are about to open up.
The excitement kicked off last week when the dev team officially announced a new reveal for the game coming soon. Now, earlier today, NetEase showcased a new Destiny Rising trailer during its big 520 event. This latest look at the mobile spin-off gave us our first official look at dual-wielding weapons (akimbo sidearms), full voice lines for several characters, and even a few new faces that fans haven’t seen before.
Destiny Rising Closed Beta Test Announced
Now, there’s even more reason to pay attention. In a new update shared by Destiny Rising’s community manager in the official Discord, it was confirmed that the official schedule for the game’s first Closed Beta Test will be revealed tomorrow, Wednesday, May 21, at 10 AM PT. But that’s not all!
The game’s App Store pre-order page will also go live the same day, giving fans a chance to get in line early. Here’s what was shared in the Discord server:
“Mark your calendars—here’s what’s coming on May 21: The official schedule for Destiny: Rising’s first Closed Beta Test. The App Store pre-order will go live!”
This big announcement came as part of a milestone celebration in the Destiny Rising community. More than 2,000 players participated in this reveal event on Discord, helping to unlock this next chapter “at light speed.”
Everyone who joined in and correctly guessed the big reveal (the closed beta test) will be entered into a draw, with three lucky winners scoring a Discord Nitro gift. The full list of winners will be posted in the Discord server on May 22.
