Destiny: Rising celebrates its first-ever raid completion in the Gauntlet: Onslaught by rewarding all Closed Alpha players with in-game currency.
Destiny: Rising, the highly anticipated mobile game from Chinese gaming giant NetEase Games, recently launched its first Closed Alpha test in select regions.
This early testing phase allows players to dive into introductory story missions and explore a range of PvP and PvE activities. Participants can also try out a roster of eleven unique hero characters.
Similar to Destiny 2, Destiny: Rising has a raid-like activity called “Gauntlet Ops.” Yesterday, NetEase revealed that Gauntlet Ops has been officially released in the game, and today, the developer announced the first completion of the Gauntlet: Onslaught activity.
Destiny: Rising’s Gauntlet Onslaught First Completion
In the game’s official Discord server, Community Manager Marunaru announced the first completion of Destiny: Rising’s Gauntlet: Onslaught raid by Team Insomnia.
The winning fireteam, consisting of OptimusPrime, Akerna, Gradet, Lixi, THATDONFC, and BoogSloogus, claimed the first clear of Issakis’s Tabernacle, completing the activity in 10 minutes and 40 seconds. As a reward, this fireteam earned a unique “DRCA Gauntlet First” role in Destiny: Rising’s official Discord server.
To celebrate this milestone and show appreciation to the community, NetEase is giving away 1,800 Lumia Leaf currency to all players in the Closed Alpha. Here’s the full statement from the developers, shared via an in-game mail message:
“Congratulations to OptimusPrime, Akerna, Gradet, Lixi, THATDONFC, and BoogSloogus for being the very first fireteam to finish Gauntlet: Onslaught – Issakis’s Tabernacle! This talented fireteam finished with a clear time of 10min 40s and got the first Gauntlet: Onslaught boss kill in the Destiny: Rising Closed Alpha Test!
“We’ve received so much enthusiastic feedback and so many sincere suggestions since the DRCA started. To celebrate our very first Gauntlet: Onslaught clear and thank you all for your participation, we’ve attached a gift for all DRCA participants. We hope it will make your journey even more joyful!
