Bethesda‘s upcoming supernatural/horror title Ghostwire Tokyo, developed by the Japanese studio Tango Gameworks, has been rated for PlayStation 5 and PC in Brazil.
The rating was added to the database on the parental rating section of the Government of Brazil website on December 15, 2021. According to the rating, the game is produced by Bethesda Softworks, which is the publisher for the title.
Furthermore, the rating shows that the game is scheduled to be released in 2022 for PS5 and PC. While this does not confirm anything we don’t already know about the game, it gives us a hint that a release date announcement might be on the way, since Tango Gameworks have yet to announce the release date for the title.
Ghostwire Tokyo is a timed exclusive on the PlayStation 5 console which means that the game won’t be available on other consoles (Xbox) until, after 12 months of release, Sony confirmed last year.
Earlier this year, Tango Gameworks officially announced the delay for Ghostwire Tokyo on Twitter, confirming that the game will now release in early 2022. (Spring)
“We want to get the game in your hands as soon as possible so you can experience the unforgettable version of a haunted Tokyo that we’ve been hard at work building,” the announcement reads.
“At the same time, we’re also focused on protecting the health of everyone at Tango. Our new release window will give us time to bring the world of Ghostwire to life as we’ve always envisioned it.
“Thank you for being patient as we work to bring you an experience unlike anything else we’ve ever made. We can’t wait to show you more in the coming months.”
