The leaked cover art for Marvel Rivals Season 1 not only gives us a first look at the official artwork but also confirms the addition of the Fantastic Four to the playable roster.
The image features Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing in full detail, showcasing their in-game designs. This aligns with earlier leaks that hinted at their arrival, but the cover art finally confirms these heroes as part of the upcoming update.

Marvel Rivals Season 1 Start Date
According to the leaked information, Marvel Rivals Season 1 is set to release on Friday, January 10, 2025. Season 0 will end on the same day, as per the date and time on the in-game Battle Pass. At this time, NetEase has yet to officially confirm the start and end dates for Season 1.
With the introduction of the Fantastic Four, Season 1 is also rumored to bring several new maps and game modes. Some of the datamined maps include locations like New York, Arakko, and Krakoa, while game modes are expected to feature classics like Capture the Flag, Escort Mode, and King of the Hill.
Marvel Rivals Fantastic Four Character Abilities
For those looking for the full character abilities for each of the upcoming Fantastic Four heroes, we’ve got you covered. Below is the list of all the datamined abilities for Mr. Fantastic, and Human Torch. At this point, we don’t have the abilities set for Invisible Woman and The Thing.
Mister Fantastic Abilities (Duelist)
- Elastic Punch: Stretch out a forward punch to attack enemies. (LMB)
- Brainiac Bounce: Leap and smash, knocking back enemies within range. Upon hitting an enemy, leap again up to six times. (Q)
- Reflexive Rubber: Stretch body to absorb damage before launching stored damage in the targeted direction. (LSHIFT)
- Flexible Elongation: Select a target and dash at it, dealing damage to enemies and granting bonus Health to allies. (E)
- Rubber Grip: Extend arms forward to entangle hit enemies, then press (LMB) to select and yank two more enemies.
- Elastic Strength: Skills generate Elasticity, boosting attack power. Reaching full Elasticity triggers an Inflated state that restores Health and boosts even more damage. (Passive)
Human Torch Abilities
- Fire Cluster: Launch forward a splittable fireball. (LMB)
- Supernova: Unleash shockwaves to deal damage to enemies within range. During skill activation, the flame field will transform into a fire tornado. (Q)
- Plasma Body: Hold LSHIFT to enter a state of accelerated ascent. (LSHIFT)
- Pyro-Prison: Connect flame fields to form a firewall that deals burning damage to enemies. (E)
- Flaming Meteor: Dive towards the ground and stun nearby enemies. (F)
- Blazing Blast: Launch a fireball to create a flame field at the targeted area. (RMB)
- Team-Ups: Omega Fire (Storm)
- Storm can consume one of Human Torch’s fire tornadoes into her ultimate to ignite her hurricane. Human Torch can turn Storm’s hurricane into a firey hurricane with his ultimate, which will enlarge the intensity of his fire tornadoes caught in its path.
