NetEase has confirmed a major Destiny Rising reveal event ahead of the 520 annual conference.
If you’ve been waiting for news on Destiny Rising, you’re definitely not alone. It’s been a long stretch of silence from the developers ever since the game’s Closed Alpha wrapped up in December 2024. Since then, fans have been hungry for any kind of update on what’s next for NetEase’s mobile take on the Destiny universe.
Now, it looks like the wait is finally over, as NetEase has officially confirmed a brand new reveal event for Destiny Rising, just days ahead of its huge 520 Gaming Conference.
Earlier today, the developer announced a special “milestone” reveal is on the way, and it’s getting the entire community involved through a new event in the official Discord server. This announcement is perfectly timed as NetEase gears up for its biggest showcase of the year.
Destiny Rising Teases a Big Reveal Ahead of NetEase 520
The new information was posted today in the Destiny Rising official Discord server by the community team. According to the announcement, Destiny Rising’s next “major milestone” is about to be revealed, and the team wants players to be a part of the moment.
Here’s how it works: NetEase is running a special event in the Destiny Rising Discord server, inviting players to guess what the next big reveal will be. If 200 people join in and submit their guesses before May 19, the “milestone” reveal will be unlocked even earlier. To keep things exciting, the three players who guess correctly (or come closest) will win a Discord Nitro gift. The event runs from May 16, 2025, at 6:00 AM PT to May 19, 2025, at 6:00 AM PT.
“It has been a while since our last connection, and we are working hard to honor your patience and anticipation. Now, it’s time to awaken our Discord with this exclusive event, as Destiny: Rising is about to unveil its next major milestone recently,” the announcement reads.
While the developers haven’t said exactly what this new milestone is, all signs point to the big announcement happening as part of the NetEase 520 Conference.
NetEase 520 Conference 2025: Date and Time
NetEase’s 520 Conference is scheduled for May 20, 2025, at 7:30 PM CST (that’s 4:30 AM PT and 12:30 AM BST). The event will be streamed live on BiliBili, TikTok, Kuaishou, Video Account, Xiaohongshu, and CC Live.
As of right now, it’s still unclear what exactly will be revealed for Destiny Rising. Fans are hoping for news about an open beta or maybe even a full release date.
