It’s been an exciting summer for Nintendo fans. The hype really kicked off when early reports began circulating about a possible Nintendo Direct scheduled for this month. Back then, there wasn’t any clear date, but as July rolled on, more sources began pointing to the end of the month for the big presentation.

All the guessing and leaks led up to today’s official news: Nintendo is hosting a Partner Direct Showcase tomorrow, July 31, 2025, at 6 am PT. The show is set to run for about 25 minutes and will focus on upcoming games for both the Switch and the Switch 2 from third-party publishers.

Now that the Direct is officially confirmed, his leak is suddenly a lot more interesting.

Here’s the list of rumored announcements for Nintendo’s July 2025 Direct presentation:

  • Pokémon Colosseum might be the first GameCube game to drop on Switch 2, with other classics possibly following later.
  • Death Stranding Director’s Cut S is rumored for Switch 2.
  • The Witcher 3: Switch 2 Edition could be coming, possibly with a $10 upgrade path for current owners.
  • Metroid Prime 4: Beyond may finally get a release date or new details.
  • A new Animal Crossing teaser could appear, hinting at a full release in 2026 and an appearance from Isabelle.
