Remedy Entertainment, developers behind the critically-acclaimed title, Control, is hiring for their new mysterious online multiplayer, game as a service, title.

This new online title is being developed by Vanguard, as revealed by the company itself; Vanguard is a new internal development team “with a slightly different focus.” The job listing is for Technical Director for Vanguard which states, “You have worked in Technical Director or Lead Programmer roles over one or more full life cycles of designing, building, releasing and operating an online game as a service (GAAS).”

“Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Control®, Quantum Break®, Max Payne®, Alan Wake® and Death Rally® and one of the leading independent game studios in the world is looking for a Technical Director for an exciting new online multiplayer game.”

The listing didn’t reveal much about this title in terms of gameplay mechanics or settings. However, we do know that this is being developed in Unreal Engine 4 instead of Remedy’s Northlight Game Engine.

In other news, Control has gotten its first expansion called The Foundation, now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (Epic Store). What are your thoughts on this new online multiplayer title from Vanguard? Let us know in the comments!
