Earlier today, The Death Set (musical band) on Facebook posted that potentially revealed that we’ll be getting a new Tony Hawk’s game in 2020.
According to the Facebook post, it says, “Just licensed 5 new songs to Tony Hawk 2020 game. You’ll be hearing this sh*t soon.” While this may be good news for many players, we don’t have any official information on whether this would be a Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game or a mobile title.
But seeing that they have licensed five songs for the game, it hints more towards a AAA title for next-gen (perhaps?). Again, we do suggest you take everything with a grain of salt until official confirmation on this.
Seeing this tweet from 2018, Tony Hawk confirmed that he is not working with Activision and that Activision still owns the license for the THPS franchise. It would be really cool seeing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 6 on next-gen consoles.

The last installment we’ve gotten in the Pro Skater franchise was Pro Skater 5 released on September 25, 2015, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The title was later ported to PS3 and Xbox 360. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments!
