A new report claims that Sony’s upcoming PSVR 2 headset looks amazing with the supposedly new leaks. Sony has confirmed the new PSVR 2 headset for the PlayStation 5 is coming with a brand-new orb-shaped VR controller.
During this week’s Digital Foundry Direct, Richard Leadbetter talked about the PlayStation VR 2 headset and how it looks even better with the new leaked specs, at around 49 minutes timestamp.
“Sony is doing PSVR 2 for the PlayStation 5. We’ve seen some leaked specs and it looks good, we’ve seen some other specs which haven’t been leaked which make it look even better,” Leadbetter said. “Hopefully, VR will be able to expand, there will be more choice in the headset arena.”
Sony originally revealed the new PSVR 2 headset earlier this year in February, following up with the first look at PlayStation VR 2 controller in March 2021. Speaking of the new controller, it will “build upon the innovation we introduced with the DualSense wireless controller,” said Hideaki Nishino in the PlayStation VR 2 Blog.
