Bungie: Destiny 2

At this point, we all have been aware of what’s going on in Destiny 2 right now. Corridors of Time were reopened after this week’s reset on Tuesday. With that, Osiris gave us a new quest which is more like a true community event unlike what we’ve gotten before on Mars. This quest is more like a mixture of the Outbreak Prime quest (from Destiny 1) and Niobe Labs in Black Armory. We don’t know what’s going to happen at the end of all this in Destiny 2, but there were some voice lines that were leaked a while ago which could lead us somewhere.

Destiny 2: New Voice Lines Leaked

Destiny 2 Leaked Voicelines Shows Corridors of Time Ending
Bungie: Destiny 2

Back in December, there were some datamined voice lines that got leaked. Most of them are added to Destiny 2. But there are some still left for us to hear in the game. Talking about the Corridors of Time quest, it seems these leaked voices lines will be tied to the ending of this questline. You can hear the whole thing here. Below, are the leaked voice lines that we have yet to hear in-game.

“Thank you for coming. We’ve gathered here today to celebrate the life of my mentor. My inspiration. They called him Crota’s End. The Hivebane. Kingslayer. The Young Wolf. Hero of the Red War. The man who avenged Cayde-6. He had a hundred titles I cannot recall. And he died doing what he does best. Defending the Last City of humanity. Ages ago, he saved my life. And then inspired me to save myself. I am glad that he did. Because Traveler help us, he is gone. And there is no one to save us now. On the day we met, I decided I would follow his example. I’m still trying.”

Is Our Guardian Going To Die?

This pretty much confirms that the grave we’re seeing in the Corridors of Time is our Guardian’s grave. This could be possible that we’re seeing this in a different timeline since we messed up our once we saved Saint-14 or could be something else entirely. But, that’s not all. There’s more to that.

“I’ve marked this grave with one of his favorite weapons, shattered in that final confrontation. It used to be mine. All who find what we’ve left here – please leave it be. Unless. Unless you’re still out there somewhere. You’ve performed miracles before. In which case, take it. And come back to us. And we’ll kill what killed you. Or die trying.”

Many theories suggest that the sword we’re seeing on the grave is one of Destiny 1’s exotic swords (Dark-Drinker, Bolt-Crasher, and Raze-Lighter). But, I don’t think it’s that since the blade of this sword is completely different. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments!
