Earlier today, there have been many rumors that Sony will be unveiling their plans for the PlayStation 5 reveal event that is rumored to be on February 12, 2020. Daniel Ahmad on twitter tweeted that we’ll be getting some sort of information regarding PlayStation 5 later today and it seems we already are getting some hints.
On the Sony’s Square NYC webpage, if you scroll down to the “Upcoming Events” section, you can see that they’ve updated their upcoming events in the future and added ‘Experience PlayStation.’ The dates and times of the events are stated as “January 14, 2020 – February 16, 2020, 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm EST,” with a text following that says, “Celebrate 25 Years of Play with a collection of titles on PS4 and PS VR.”
I’m guessing the leak from the Assassin’s Creed listing was legit and we’ll be getting an official announcement for this event real soon. We will be updating this post as more news comes in. PlayStation 4 was officially released on November 15, 2013, in the United States and Canada. PlayStation 5 release date is expected in the holidays 2020.
