Fortnite Battle Royale is still one of the best games out there. The game had a lot of changes over the past few years. Some of these changes were very good, for example, ziplines. However, some were not enjoyed by the players if we remember the dreadful Season 10. There is also more competition today and even talks of a Call of Duty Battle Royale. Of course, Fortnite probably has the best marketing we have ever seen. The game is always making partnerships with different industries, from other games to movie franchises. Another strong section of Fortnite is content development. The game has a lot of weapon variants and new ones are always in the works. The developers can also vault weapons therefore they can control the saturation of a weapon type. According to the leaks, there is a new weapon coming into the game.
The new weapon is written in the files as “WID_Pistol_RapidFireSMG_Athena”. Now we take a look at this line it can mean two things. The machine pistol which was vaulted in 2018 can come back to the game or it is an entirely new weapon. SMGs are very effective especially in close range in every game. However, the machine pistol was insane with also a big ammo capacity able to melt enemies with ease. We can expect to see this weapon in Chapter 2 Season 2.
Fortnite Chapter 2 brought a lot of changes to the game. These changes were various from maps to weapons. Also with the new physics engine, Epic Games is trying to change the game. Apex passing them in download numbers was not great. After a long 2019, the game will make longer seasons by the looks of it. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 1 was the longest season until now. Players did not receive this news very well. Fortnite is still trying to establish as an esports game even after the Fortnite World Cup 2019.
