Forza Horizon 5 is officially the biggest launch day title for Xbox Game Studios, as confirmed by the Xbox head.

Phil Spencer, on his Twitter account, tweeted that the latest installment in the Forza Horizon franchise, Forza Horizon 5, is the “largest launch day for XGS game, peak concurrent 3x FH4 high.”

“We’ve invested for years in Xbox so more people can play. With 4.5+ million players so far across PC, cloud & console, Forza Horizon 5 shows that promise coming to life,” says Spencer.

It’s a big milestone for Playground Games and for Xbox. The best thing in all of this is that of course, Xbox Gams Pass. A game this big being available to everyone subscribed to Xbox Game Pass on day one shows how valuable this service really is.

Forza Horizon 5 crosses 4.5mil+ players

Apart from Xbox consoles, Xbox Game Pass, and Xbox PC app, Forza Horizon 5 is also available on Steam. On Steam alone, the game has crossed over 70,000 concurrent players at one point, which is a huge deal for a racing game.

Playground Games recently announced that it will be adding more accessibility features to the game, including sign language.

“The team is excited to share we are also working on American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) support for cinematics in Forza Horizon 5,” said Forza Horizon 5 Creative Director, Mike Brown in an Xbox Wire post. Coming soon, this feature will include a picture-in-picture display near the bottom of the screen of an ASL/BSL interpreter during the cinematics in the game.”

Forza Horizon 5 is now available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
