A new 007 James Bond game has appeared on the PlayStation Store, but it might not be what fans expect.
James Bond fans have been eagerly waiting for IO Interactive’s ambitious take on the legendary 007 franchise. Announced back in 2020, this officially licensed game—codenamed “Project 007“—promises to deliver a unique origin story for the world’s most famous spy. However, since its reveal, details have been scarce, leaving fans longing for any new developments.
Now, it seems a different James Bond game has quietly appeared on the PlayStation Store, and it’s raising eyebrows. Titled “Agent 007 – Spy Revenge,” the game’s listing has caught the attention of fans, but it comes with an air of skepticism.
Agent 007 – Spy Revenge Appears On PlayStation Store
This new game is developed by a Romanian studio called iOrder SRL. The developer’s only other known project, Winter Survival Simulator, has yet to be released, according to the company’s website. As for Agent 007 – Spy Revenge, this “retro first-person shooter” has no release date, as it’s currently set to “Announced” on the product page.

While the game’s description paints an exciting picture, it raises doubts about its legitimacy. IO Interactive currently holds the official James Bond license, making it unlikely that Agent 007 – Spy Revenge is an authorized addition to the franchise. The involvement of a little-known developer and the lack of an official announcement adds further uncertainty.
This isn’t the first time an unexpected game has popped up on the PlayStation Store. Not long ago, a listing for Grand Taking Ages: VI appeared, an obvious nod to Rockstar’s highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI, slated for release in Fall 2025.
