A huge Battlefield 6 Labs playtest leak just dropped, featuring over 90 minutes of new gameplay.

If you’ve been following the excitement around Battlefield 6, you know just how much fans have been waiting for something big from EA and DICE. The Battlefield series has always had a loyal community, and with each new entry, expectations only get higher.

The last few weeks have been packed with talk of closed playtests and early access events, with the developer inviting select players to try out the new game and help stress-test their servers before launch. These private playtests have mostly stayed under wraps, with some leaks here and there.

With every new wave of sign-ups and rumors about gameplay improvements, anticipation has been building. But as is often the case with big releases, leaks start popping up, giving everyone else a chance to peek behind the curtain.

Battlefield 6’s 72-Hour Playtest Is Now Live

Just recently, EA kicked off a new playtest for Battlefield 6 through its Labs program. This one is pretty big, running for a full 72 hours, and invites were sent out to players across North America, Europe, and parts of Asia.

The main goal here is to test the servers and see how well the game holds up when lots of players jump in at once. But keep in mind, this is still a “pre-alpha” version, which means it’s not finished and is mostly about making sure everything works as it should.

The playtest features a limited set of maps and modes, giving players a small taste of what’s coming when Battlefield 6 eventually launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. If you’re on console, you’ll need PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass Core to hop into multiplayer lobbies.

Even though all participants were required to sign a strict non-disclosure agreement (NDA), someone decided to go ahead and share their experience with the world anyway. Shortly after the latest playtest went live, a player streamed over 90 minutes of Battlefield 6 playtest gameplay online.

This is coming from a channel called Gambf. The footage covers a lot: you can see multiple matches, modes like Domination, match introduction animation, different classes in action, and some of the latest movement mechanics, like mantling and sprint sliding.

There’s more polish here than what was seen in past leaks, but it’s still obvious that this is a work-in-progress. Some of the textures and polygons aren’t fully finished, and the menus (including a peek at the in-game settings) are still a little rough around the edges.

Still, the gameplay does a good job of showing off what EA and DICE are experimenting with for the new Battlefield, especially when it comes to player movement and how different classes will play.

If you’re interested in checking out what the latest version of Battlefield 6 looks like, you can watch the leaked footage below. Just a heads up: since this goes against the NDA everyone agreed to, it probably won’t be online for long. EA usually moves quickly to take these things down.

Just a reminder, if you were picked to join the playtest, sharing anything about it, videos, screenshots, or even detailed descriptions, goes against the rules EA set out for this closed event. The NDA is meant to keep early builds under wraps and avoid spoilers or confusion about unfinished content.

So, what do you think about what’s shown in this leaked gameplay? Are you impressed by the new features, or does it still look like it needs more work? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
