New GTA 6 Domain Registrations Hint at Possible In-Game Websites and Parody Apps

Rockstar may have quietly registered several new domains for GTA 6, hinting at in-game websites and parody apps tied to the world of Leonida.

It’s no secret that Grand Theft Auto 6 is one of the most anticipated games in the world right now (now that Hollow Knight Silksong is finally out!). Ever since Rockstar dropped that new trailer earlier this year, the hype hasn’t slowed down, not even after the studio pushed the release window to May 2026.

But despite the long wait, fans haven’t stopped digging for clues. Over the past few months, we’ve seen a flood of leaks and insider posts, everything from relationship systems and character mechanics to water physics and in-game malls.

Now, there’s some new info floating around thanks to a new report, and it might hint at more of the in-game internet we’ll be seeing in GTA 6.

New GTA 6 Domains Spotted?

The info comes from a well-known Rockstar insider named Tez2, who shared a post recently pointing out several domains that were quietly registered under Take-Two’s nameservers on May 27. According to them, these could be placeholders for in-game websites, much like what Rockstar has done in the past with GTA IV and V.

In those games, the in-game internet was filled with parody sites that players could actually browse. “I came across some domains all registered on May 27 under Take-Two‘s nameservers that seem to be VI-related,” they said.

“These domains could be in-game sites that R* may redirect to VI’s page later on, like what we’ve seen with IV and V. Or some could be completely unrelated instead.”

Here’s the full list of domains that were spotted:

  • what-up.app (already known from past leaks, possibly a social media parody)
  • rydeme.app (possibly a dating or rideshare app)
  • buckme.app
  • leonidagov.org (clearly referencing Leonida, GTA 6’s Florida-inspired state)
  • brianandbradley.com
  • hookers-galore.com (fairly self-explanatory given Vice City’s themes)
  • wipeoutcornskin.com

It’s worth mentioning that these might not all be tied to GTA 6 directly; some could be part of unrelated projects, or even just registered as decoys. Still, the LeonidaGov domain in particular lines up way too well with the setting we’ve seen teased so far.

We’ve already seen leaks claiming GTA 6 will feature 700+ enterable stores, in-game robberies, a relationship system, a dual-character wheel, and even things like underwater exploration. There’s also talk of a Drake-hosted radio station and a system where artists can upload music directly into the game.
