Masterworked.GG launches as a free Destiny 2 companion site with full item database, weekly rotations, player stats, inventory tools, and more.

Bungie recently announced that Destiny 2 is back in active development, with plans to restore previously vaulted campaigns, destinations, and raids. In its September announcement, the studio confirmed that work has begun on bringing this content back for all players, alongside a broader commitment to future Destiny stories and games.

The news came just three months after Monument of Triumph brought Destiny 2’s regular live-service content releases to an end. Bungie hasn’t announced when the returning content will arrive, but the franchise has a future beyond maintaining its existing servers.

For players still spending time in Destiny 2, there’s plenty to keep track of. Weapon rolls, weekly activities, raid rewards, character builds, and player statistics are often scattered across different websites. Finding one particular piece of information can mean keeping several tabs open.

Now, a new Destiny 2 companion website wants to bring all of that together in one place.

Masterworked.GG Launches With Destiny 2 Tools, Player Stats, Loot Tables, and More

Masterworked.GG is an all-in-one Destiny 2 companion website built to give players a central place to manage gear, research weapons, track activities, and check their progress. Powered primarily by Bungie’s public API, the website combines several tools that Destiny 2 players typically use separate services to access.

The goal, as explained on the site’s About page, is to provide “one place for the things you’d otherwise have five tabs open for.”

One of its biggest features is a Destiny 2 item database with more than 37,000 entries, including over 2,200 weapons, armor pieces, perks, mods, cosmetics, and other collectibles.

Players can inspect weapon stats, possible perk combinations, and acquisition sources, with additional community-tested perk information from D2Clarity. Advanced search filters support commands such as is:exotic, source:raid, and specific perk names, so finding a weapon with a particular combination doesn’t require scrolling through hundreds of unrelated items.

There’s also a dedicated Today in Destiny 2 section covering daily and weekly resets, rotating raids and dungeons, Nightfalls, Lost Sectors, activity modifiers, and vendor inventories. Players can check what Xûr or Banshee-44 is selling and see which activities currently have bonus rewards.

For anyone farming specific gear, Masterworked.GG includes loot tables covering a ton of activities and more than 1,700 reward entries. Raid and dungeon pages break rewards down by encounter, so players can identify where individual weapons and armor pieces drop before starting a run. That’s especially useful when you’re after one weapon rather than another full clear for loot you already own.

Player statistics are another major part of the website. By entering a Bungie name, users can look up a Guardian’s raid clears, dungeon records, Trials of Osiris performance, and Grandmaster Nightfall history without signing in. The leaderboards featurees World First races, completion counts, flawless clears, low-man challenges, sherpas, speed records, and other achievements.

Masterworked.GG also introduces its own ranking system called Masterworked Rating. It assigns separate ratings for raids, dungeons, Trials of Osiris, and Grandmaster Nightfalls, with seven divisions culminating in Masterworked. Ratings account for activity completions and mode-specific achievements, placing greater weight on accomplishments such as flawless or low-man runs. It’s an independent progression-based system rather than an official Bungie competitive rating.

Beyond individual player records, the website includes a weapon meta tracker that uses public match reports to examine which weapons are being used across PvE and PvP. Players can check usage trends, explore commonly equipped perk combinations, and create community tier lists covering weapons, Exotic armor, abilities, raids, and expansions.

Other tools include live and historical population estimates, collection tracking, Triumphs, titles, catalysts, crafting progress, and an archive of Destiny 2 patch notes.

For players who want to manage their own accounts, signing in through Bungie opens up a separate set of features. The inventory manager displays gear across characters, the vault, and the postmaster, with item transfers, search filters, custom tags, and notes. An item organizer helps identify duplicates and unwanted gear, supports bulk changes, and can export inventory information to a spreadsheet.
