Bloober Team has shared a new development update, confirming 2026 release windows for Project F and Project M, along with new details on I Hate This Place, Star Trek: Infection, and more.
Bloober Team just dropped a new update on everything it’s been working on, and it’s looking like 2026 is going to be a packed year for the Polish horror studio. In a new press release, the team confirmed that both Project F and Project M are set to launch in 2026, marking the next wave of projects under the studio’s expanding Broken Mirror Games label.
According to CEO Piotr Babieno, Bloober wants to keep its focus on the “premium horror segment” while making sure each new release feels unique and emotionally engaging. The goal, he says, isn’t just to churn out more games, but to make ones that truly stand out, a message that fits Bloober’s steady rise in the horror genre over the past few years.
Upcoming Bloober Team Games Detailed
Here’s a list of all the upcoming projects from Bloober Team, the studio behind horror favorites like Layers of Fear and Cronos: The New Dawn:
- Layers of Fear: The Final Masterpiece Edition is officially heading to Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2025. This version includes the full Layers of Fear experience in one package.
- I Hate This Place: Based on the comic by Kyle Starks and Artyom Topilin, will now launch on January 29, 2026. It’s an isometric survival horror game that’s also part of the Broken Mirror Games lineup. You’ll be able to play it on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.
- Star Trek Infection: A horror VR project set in the Star Trek universe, is set to release on December 11, 2025. It’s coming to Meta Quest 3, Quest 3S, and SteamVR.
- Project F is planned for a 2026 release under Bloober’s second-party label Broken Mirror Games. While details are still under wraps, it’s being developed as part of Bloober’s long-term 2023–2027 strategy, signaling a bigger-scale horror experience.
- Project M, another Broken Mirror Games title, is in the works exclusively for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, with its global release also set for 2026.
Bloober also celebrated recent recognition, with Cronos: The New Dawn earning a nomination for Best Audio at the Golden Joystick Awards and the studio itself up for Studio of the Year.

“Our overarching goal is to strengthen Bloober Team’s position in the premium horror segment and to consistently deliver on our long-term growth strategy through diversified projects—both our own and co-developed under the Broken Mirror Games label.
“Each of the upcoming titles offers a unique dimension of emotion and experience that defines our studio’s DNA. Above all, we care about creating top-quality productions that stand out in a rich and rapidly evolving games market, rather than being just more titles in a flood of releases.”
