We have another confirmed next-gen video game title officially announced recently. From Nacon and KT Racing, WRC 9 (World Racing Championship 9) is getting developed for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
The game is getting released on September 3rd, 2020, for current-gen consoles – PS4, Xbox One, and PC. WRC 9 will also port to Nintendo Switch at a later date.
As for the next-gen release, World Racing Championship 9 features improved visuals, gameplay, and content. Players will get ‘more enhanced and challenging career mode’ along with the three new events; Kenya’s iconic Safari Rally, Rally Japan, and Rally New Zealand. There are other two other unannounced rallies as well that are kept under the shadows for now.
- 3 new rallies: Japan, New Zealand, Kenya
- Over 50 official teams and their livery from the WRC, WRC 2, WRC 3 and Junior WRC
- Over 15 bonus cars that have left their mark on the history of the WRC
The game will be available on PC from Epic Games Store. So, you need to have an Epic account in order to play this game. We’ll get more information about the release of WRC 9 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X later this year.
WRC 8 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
