Rumor: Assassin’s Creed 2020 Official Announcement Coming Very Soon, Insider Says

Assassin's Creed 2020 Official Announcement
Ubisoft

Earlier this week, there was a rumor circulating around the next Assassin’s Creed title to feature lots of supernatural elements and will be related to the first civilization. Well, with all these rumors and leaks going around, we don’t have a solid guess when Ubisoft is going to actually reveal Assassin’s Creed 2020. Today, we might have an answer to that question.

Shinobi602, an industry insider who has a well-proven and reliable source of insider information, has tweeted about the AC 2020/Vikings. On Twitter, someone asked him whether he knows when the next AC game will be announced, and to that, he replied, “Yes.” Another tweet followed from Shinobi602 that pretty much confirms that Assassin’s Creed 2020 official announcement is just around the corner.

A recent rumor from xj0nathan suggests that Assassin’s Creed 2020 will be featuring Vikings, and won’t be called Ragnarok. It will feature the hidden blade and shield which was featured in the first Assassin’s Creed titles. He also hints at the reveal coming in late April or early May.

Considering that, we just found out from Google that they will be hosting Google Connect later this month. Maybe Ubisoft will reveal their next-gen Assassin’s Creed 2020 title during that. But, it’s just a guess. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments!
