According to a new report, Activision will release the new anti-cheat for Call of Duty multiplayer and Warzone later this year with the release of Call of Duty Vanguard (2021).

Tom Henderson, who is a very reputable Call of Duty and Battlefield leaker, says that there will be a brand-new Warzone map that will “take us to WW2.”

“The next Warzone map will completely replace Verdansk and will take us to WW2. It’s scheduled to launch on Call of Duty 2021’s release date,” Henderson said in a tweet.

“BOCW [Black Ops Cold War] and Modern Warfare weapons will still be on the new map. It would appear that all your cosmetics will transfer over too.”

As for the new anti-cheat that’s been rumored for release for quite some time now, Henderson says it’s coming with the release of the new Warzone WWII map that’s releasing with Call of Duty Vanguard.

“The new anti-cheat is coming alongside the launch of the next Warzone map.”

Considering all the previous rumors and now this one, it’s pretty obvious that Call of Duty’s long-awaited anti-cheat will come sooner rather than later as Activision has been working on it for over a year now.

In other news, Call of Duty’s Twitter account has acknowledged all the new leaks that happened this week for its new Call of Duty 2021 title. The official teasers are now happening over on social media with the reveal event reportedly planned for next week on Thursday, August 19, 2021.
