A YouTuber has seemingly leaked the full list of content expected to release with the newly announced Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5. Here’s everything revealed so far.
CD Projekt Red has announced another major free update for Cyberpunk 2077, nearly six years after the game’s original release. Update 2.5 arrives on October 22, 2026, alongside the release of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 on Netflix, and the studio has already confirmed cyberware customization and a new dual-wielding combat system.
Now, a YouTuber claims to have obtained the patch notes ahead of their official release, revealing considerably more than CDPR has announced.

The update launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version arriving later. CDPR is preparing an official REDstreams presentation for tomorrow (October 21), where the studio will explain the new features before publishing the full patch notes.
However, YouTuber WesNemo says CDPR contacted him and other creators about the update, giving him access to its contents ahead of the presentation. His video contains an extensive breakdown of new missions, combat mechanics, customization features, console mod support, and technical improvements.
Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 Leak Reveals Console Mods, Dual-Wielding, and New Edgerunners 2 Content
In his latest YouTube video, WesNemo claims Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 introduces two new side quests. The first, called Clampdown, serves as a playable prequel to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. Players reportedly unlock it after completing The Heist, finishing two gigs for Wakako Okada, and waiting for her message. Completing the quest rewards a five-piece outfit inspired by Weak Kingsley, also known as King, a former edgerunner voiced by Clancy Brown in the anime.
A second quest, Welcome to Paradise, reportedly takes players on a guided tour of Night City narrated by its long-deceased founder, Richard Knight. The mystery becomes available after The Heist once players reach Street Cred level 15.
WesNemo also describes an expansion to the Fool on the Hill quest involving 12 new Minor Arcana tarot cards hidden throughout the city. Scanning the first card begins the new objective, and collecting all 12 grants a special reward that the video doesn’t identify.
The combat addition could be the biggest reason to start another playthrough. According to WesNemo, dual-wielding comes through a new Double Trouble perk in the Cool attribute tree, accompanied by four supporting perks.

The system allows V to wield two Power-category pistols or revolvers simultaneously, although Tech and Smart weapons are excluded. CDPR has officially confirmed dual-wielding, but the specific weapon restrictions and perk requirements still need confirmation.
Cyberware customization is getting considerably more attention than a basic appearance menu, according to the video. Five new businesses called Glamdocs reportedly let players customize the colors and appearance of Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms, Monowire, and the Projectile Launch System. Each Glamdoc has its own character, voiced introduction, animations, and catalog of cyberware skins.
Players can locate these shops through spray-paint icons on the map. WesNemo also describes five clothing collections distributed among Night City’s vendors, with one collection planned for a later release, alongside the return of NPC-exclusive hairstyles for V and the NUS Infiltrator clothing set becoming available in additional shops.

Console modding is the other major claim. WesNemo says Cyberpunk 2077 will receive integrated mod.io support across PC, Mac, PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S. Players would be able to browse and install a selection of community-created mods directly through the game’s menus, something console players haven’t previously had access to in Cyberpunk 2077.
Nintendo Switch 2 isn’t included in the reported supported-platform list. CDPR apparently intends to expand the available mod selection over time, and modded saves will receive their own indicators in the Load Game menu.
The video also claims a new radio station called HKGN 102 FM will play music from the Edgerunners anime series. There are four new Twin Tone vehicle skins for the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech through Twitch Drops, Photo Mode poses for dual-wielding characters, and additional frames inspired by the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game. A console field-of-view slider, save files grouped by playthrough, and inventory filters for apartment and vehicle stashes are also reportedly part of the patch.
PC players appear to be getting another round of graphics improvements. WesNemo mentions DLSS 4.5 with up to 6x Multi Frame Generation, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, and NVIDIA’s second-generation Transformer model.

The leak also includes glasses-free 3D support for compatible Samsung Odyssey 3D monitors, MetalFX improvements on Mac, changes to AMD FSR compatibility, ray-tracing optimizations, and PS5 Pro performance work. Several bugs reportedly receive fixes, including ineffective HDR and film-grain settings, a Nintendo Switch 2 save error, and a Delamain cab issue that could block progress in Things Done Changed.
The amount of reported content is unusual for a game approaching its sixth anniversary. Console mods could have a longer-lasting effect than most of the new quests, particularly if CDPR continues adding compatible community creations. The limitation to Power pistols also suggests the dual-wielding system has been designed around a specific combat build rather than unrestricted weapon combinations.
For now, these details come from WesNemo’s video rather than publicly released CDPR patch notes. The developer’s official announcement confirms cyberware customization and dual-wielding, with the complete reveal scheduled for October 21.
