Destiny 2’s upcoming Game2Give 2025 charity campaign is introducing cel-shaded cosmetics, including the first-ever comic-style shader.
Destiny 2 players have plenty to look forward to as Episode Revenant Act 3 gears up for its launch on January 7, 2025. With new content dropping next week, anticipation is already high, but that’s not the only exciting thing on the horizon.
Bungie has officially announced the return of its annual Game2Give charity campaign, an event that lets players support a great cause while earning exclusive in-game rewards. Historically, these campaigns have been a highlight for the community, offering exclusive cosmetics to those who donate.
This year’s Game2Give campaign is set to kick off later this month, and while Bungie has kept the campaign-exclusive rewards under wraps, dataminers have found some exciting new cosmetics.
A brand-new shader and other cel-shaded cosmetics are on their way, promising to bring a comic book-inspired aesthetic to Destiny 2 for the first time. If you’ve ever wanted your Guardian to look like they’ve stepped straight out of a graphic novel, this is your chance.
Bungie Game2Give 2025: Offset Shader and Caped Cruiser Sparrow in Destiny 2
We now have our first hints at the upcoming cosmetics tied to the Game2Give 2025 campaign. One standout item is a cel-shaded shader called “Offset,” which appears to create a bold, comic-style effect on armor and weapons.
If you’ve seen the Caped Cruiser sparrow in the Collections tab, you’ve already had a sneak peek at this aesthetic. The sparrow’s unique cel-shaded look is likely achieved using this very shader.
While the shader and sparrow are part of the Game2Give bundle—considering there’s a big Game2Give logo on the sparrow—we don’t yet know the donation amount required to unlock it. Last year’s campaign featured exclusive items like the Lubraen Luxury shader and the Disciple’s Shell bundle, which were available for a $28 donation.
If Bungie follows a similar model this year, players can expect these cel-shaded cosmetics to come at a similar price point. At this time, there’s no in-game preview of how the Offset shader will look on armor and weapons, but Destiny 2 fashion content creator Krypz has put together a concept showcasing its potential.

The comic theme is already showcased across all of Bungie Foundation‘s Game2Give 2025 promotional materials this year, including the “Maximum Heart” comic cover unveiled in December 2024.
