Getting ready for Destiny 2 Edge of Fate expansion? Here’s the full breakdown of which bounties are staying and leaving.
Destiny 2 The Edge of Fate is right around the corner, releasing on July 15. This new expansion is bringing a ton of game-wide changes, including the new Portal screen, Armor 3.0, stats overhaul, a non-linear campaign, and more.
If you’re someone who likes to get a head start on new expansion launches, now is the perfect time to get your bounty prep sorted for Edge of Fate’s release. And the good news is, Bungie has just shared a detailed list showing exactly which bounties will stick around after the update, and which ones are on their way out.
Full List of Bounties Staying and Leaving in Destiny 2 Edge of Fate
Bungie shared these details in the latest This Week in Destiny blog post, giving everyone a heads-up about what’s changing with bounties. Many bounties are being updated to be simpler and easier to complete. For example, Ada-1’s Armor Synthesis bounties will soon allow you to make progress across more activities, not just specific ones. Destination bounties, like those you pick up in the EDZ or Dreaming City, are sticking around as well.
However, not everything is staying. Some bounties will be removed completely with Destiny 2’s Update 9.0.0.1, so you’ll want to redeem them before July 15 to avoid missing out on XP, Glimmer, or other rewards.

There are some other updates coming with Edge of Fate as well. Gambit will be taking a bit of a break, though the activity will still be available for legacy rewards and Triumphs. And if you missed it, there’s also a possible new Exotic heavy weapon leak for the Edge of Fate expansion.
