It’s that time of the year when the new Destiny 2 expansion launches. The Edge of Fate, the first expansion in the Fate saga, is arriving tomorrow (July 15th). This expansion brings new story missions, new core system changes, and a brand-new raid. But with a launch this big, you can expect the usual pre-launch downtime to get everything in place.
Yep, that means scheduled maintenance and server outages. Bungie’s prepping the game in the background on July 14, followed by a full downtime on launch day. If you’re planning to jump in right when Edge of Fate drops, you’ll want to know exactly when the servers go offline, and more importantly, when you can log back in.

Destiny 2 Edge of Fate: Full Server Downtime Schedule
Maintenance around the Edge of Fate expansion will last roughly 8 hours, starting early Tuesday morning and ending around midday. During this time, you won’t be able to log in, and all features like the Bungie site, third-party apps, and APIs will be down for a good chunk of it.
