With the launch of Episode Revenant in Destiny 2, Bungie has added a brand-new exotic in the game that has the ability to generate ammo for you and your fireteam. This exotic weapon is called Alethonym and it’s a Stasis exotic grenade launcher. Here’s how to unlock this weapon in the game.
Alethonym’s exotic perk is called Harvester Spike Intrinsic which states that when you get a final blow with this weapon, it creates remnants that travel towards you. Collecting these remnants will up the energy meter; at 50% you’ll be able to create Special ammo for you and your fireteam, and at 100% you can create a Heavy ammo brick.
Now, similar to other exotic weapons, Alethonym also comes with an exotic catalyst that further boosts its performance. Here’s how you can unlock the Alethonym exotic catalyst in Destiny 2.
How to Unlock Alethonym Exotic Catalyst in Destiny 2?
You can unlock the Alethonym exotic catalyst from the Episode Revenant season pass rewards. However, it’s currently unavailable right now. Looking at the new season pass track, it appears the exotic catalyst for Alethonym will become available in Episode Revenant Act 2, which is launching on November 19, 2024.
Alethonym Exotic Catalyst Perk
Alethonym’s exotic catalyst adds the One For All perk to the weapon. Here’s what it does:
- One For All: Hitting three separate targets increases damage for a moderate duration.
