Destiny 2 Episode Revenant Act 3 Start and End Dates
Destiny 2 Episode Revenant Act 3 kicks off on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 9 AM PT (12 PM ET, 5 PM GMT, 6 PM CET) and runs until Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 9 AM PT. (12 PM ET, 5 PM GMT, 6 PM CET)
This four-week act will serve as the climactic conclusion to Episode Revenant, bringing fresh content and tying up loose ends from the past two acts.
Kell’s Fall Exotic Mission
One of the most anticipated pieces of content is the new Kell’s Fall exotic mission, which is expected to go live on the same day as Act 3’s launch, though this hasn’t been officially confirmed.
This mission promises to be a highlight of the act, featuring new challenging gameplay and narrative depth. Completing it will reward players with an exciting new weapon: the Slayer’s Fang Exotic shotgun.
Slayer’s Fang Exotic Shotgun
The Slayer’s Fang is an Exotic Void shotgun that will be available as part of the new Kell’s Fall exotic mission. Here’s what we know about its perks and catalysts:
- Exotic Perks:
- Nightsworn Sight: Grants Truesight on final blows, slowly reloads ammo from reserves, and generates weakening submunitions.
- Heart Piercer: Rounds shatter into submunitions on impact and can counter Overload Champions.
- Catalysts: According to the datamined information, this craftable weapon will feature four unique catalysts. These are: Repulsor Brace, Stats For All, Cascade Point, and Loose Change.

Destiny 2 Revenant Act 3 Artifact Perks
Revenant Act 3 will introduce five additional artifact perks, one in each column of the seasonal artifact. While Bungie has kept the specifics under wraps, these perks will likely offer new ways to optimize builds and tackle the season’s challenges.
New Destiny 2 Revenant Act 3 Weapons
Episode Revenant will add two new seasonal Legendary weapons to the pool: Red Tape Lightweight Stasis Scout rifle with 200 RPM, and Heretic’s Fervor Aggressive Stasis Rocket Launcher with 25 RPM.
Red Tape perks:
- Column 3: Rimestealer, Closing Time, Keep Away, Lone Wolf, Attrition Orbs, Fourth Times The Charm, Demolitionist.
- Column 4: Headstone, High Impact Reserves, Focused Fury, One For All, Adrenaline Junkie, Rampage, Explosive Payload.
Heretic’s Fervor perks:
- Column 3: Tracking Module, Field Prep, Auto-Loading Holster, Lone Wolf, Rimestealer, Quickdraw, Slideshot.
- Column 4: Chill Clip, Vorpal Weapon, Frenzy, Bipod, Quickdraw, Explosive Light, Harmony.
Destiny 2 New Strand Armor in Eververse
Players can also look forward to stylish new Strand-themed armor sets available in the Eververse Store during Revenant Act 3. These armor sets are called “Jade Filament”. Update: The armor is already live in the game this week.

Destiny 2 Chatterwhite Shader Returns
Leaked details suggest that the beloved Chatterwhite Shader is making a comeback in Revenant Act 3. A fan favorite from Destiny’s early days, this sleek white shader is perfect for players who want a clean and classic look.
As of right now, we don’t know the exact quest steps to unlock this shader.
Destiny 2 Past Is Prologue Quest
In the final weeks of Revenant Act 3, players can expect the Past Is Prologue quest to become available. Similar to the mechanics of Riven’s Wishes, this quest will allow players to complete objectives and choose from a curated list of desirable rewards.
