Here’s the full weekly rotation for Destiny 2’s Rite of the Nine dungeons, including when all three will be available at once.

Destiny 2’s limited-time Rite of the Nine event launched with a lot of hype last week, followed by just as much confusion. While players were excited about returning dungeons, updated loot, and new difficulty options, the lack of clear communication around the dungeon schedule led to major backlash.

Many assumed each dungeon would rotate weekly, only to log in earlier today and find Spire of the Watcher still the only option. The confusion only grew louder as Bungie didn’t initially confirm how long each dungeon would remain active. The developer eventually released a statement confirming the three-week rotation for each dungeon.

Destiny 2 Rite of the Nine Dungeon Rotation Confirmed

Just one day later, the Destiny 2 Team posted a follow-up confirming a major change: the dungeon rotation schedule is being shortened, and more loot bonuses are being added. As of today, each dungeon will now be featured for two weeks instead of three.

Along with this, Bungie is increasing the drop rate of Nonary Manifold currency, which players can exchange for more weapons. Even better, during the second week of each dungeon’s run, players will get extra weapon drops from any enemy inside the dungeon. These bonus drops include the new Holofoil and Adept weapons.

The complete Rite of the Nine dungeon rotation can be found below:

  • Spire of the Watcher: May 6 to May 20
  • Ghosts of the Deep: May 20 to June 3
  • Prophecy: June 3 to June 17
  • All Dungeons Available: June 17 to July 8
    • Spire of the Watcher: June 17
    • Ghosts of the Deep: June 24
    • Prophecy: July 1
  • Lootapalooza Week (All bonuses active): July 8 to July 15

This clarification comes after a wave of player feedback calling out Bungie for poor communication and timegating. Regardinng the “lootapalooza” week, here’s what Bungie has to say:

“On July 8, a ‘lootapalooza’ will begin; all three dungeons will have all rewards bonuses enabled for the final week of Episode Heresy alongside a new way to spend your Nonary Manifold currency. We hope this gives all Guardians ample time to hunt for Holofoils and Adepts as they prepare for The Edge of Fate’s launch on July 15,” the developer said.
