A new Destiny 2 leak reveals details about the Pantheon 2.0 event coming in Shadow & Order, bringing back raid bosses from Scourge, Crown, and Spire.

Destiny 2 is in a pretty busy spot right now, with Bungie pushing through the Year of Prophecy content calendar. Next week’s big launch is Renegades on December 2, bringing a new campaign, the Lawless Frontier activity, the Equilibrium dungeon, Blasters, Praxic Blade, and a chunk of sandbox and progression changes.

Once Renegades launches, the next big release on the schedule is Shadow and Order, the second Major Update of the year. Bungie already confirmed last year that this update would introduce a Pantheon-style event. The devs described it as an event that “leverages legacy raid and dungeon content along the lines of The Pantheon,” building on what players saw with the Into the Light update.

Now it looks like we have our first details on what this new Pantheon-style event could include, thanks to a new leak shared by a trusted insider.

Destiny 2 Shadow & Order Pantheon 2.0 Details

The new information comes from Destiny leaker Colony Deaks on X, who has shared accurate Destiny 2 details in the past. In a new post shared earlier today, they outlined what they call a “Pantheon V2” event tied to the Shadow & Order Major Update, focused on bringing back some of the raid bosses that are currently vaulted.

According to the leak, Pantheon 2.0 would feature Insurrection Prime from Scourge of the Past, Gahlran, the Sorrow Bearer from Crown of Sorrow, and Val Ca’uor from Spire of Stars. The idea is not just a simple reissue.

The note claims that this version of Pantheon would remix these encounters, with boss fights that pull mechanics from earlier encounters in those raids. “Pantheon V2 – Returning vaulted encounters: Insurrection Prime, Gahlran, and Val Ca’uor. Boss encounters merge mechanics from previous encounters,” the text file reads.

If accurate, this would mean Bungie is not only bringing back boss encounters that have been inaccessible for years, but also updating them with new mechanics. The Shadow & Order major update is set to launch on March 3, 2026.

Of course, this is still a rumor, not an official announcement, so it is important to treat all of this with a grain of salt until Bungie confirms anything. The current roadmap already has plenty locked in, with Renegades arriving next week, the Dawning event, and of course, the Shadow & Order Major update.

Apart from that, Bungie said that it will share the multi-year roadmap for the future of Destiny 2 next year, as it was delayed out of this year.
