Bungie’s latest expansion for Destiny 2, The Final Shape, introduces an array of exotic weapons and armor, enhancing gameplay with unique abilities and powerful gear. Here’s a breakdown of the new exotics that Guardians can acquire.

Destiny 2 The Final Shape: All Exotic Weapons and Armor

There appears to be a total of five exotic weapons and six exotic armor in The Final Shape. We will update this article as we get more details.

Khvostov 7G-0X Auto Rifle

Khvostov 7G-0X is one of the most famous weapons in Destiny. Now returning as an exotic Auto Rifle in The Final Shape, Khvostov 7G-0X has been updated with some new features, exotic perks, and all-new visuals for the weapon model. Here’s an overview of this exotic weapon:

  • The Right Choice Intrinsic Trait: Every seventh bullet from this weapon deals additional damage and ricochets to nearby targets.
  • Eyes Up, Guardian Trait: Picking up an Orb of Power makes the next seven bullets ricochet.
  • Shoot to Loot: Shooting an Orb of Power picks it up. Shooting an ammo brick picks it up and automatically reloads all of your equipped weapons from reserves.
  • RPM: 600
  • Magazine: 43

Microcosm Heavy Trace Rifle

After countless number of request from the fans, Bungie is finally adding a Trace Rifle in The FInal Shape, that will fit in the Heavy slot. Microcosm Heavy Trace Rifle is inspired from the Traveler’s beam, which we saw in one of the cinematics in Lightfall. Here’s an overview of this exotic weapon:

  • Paracausal Beam Intrinsic Trait: Fires a beam of Kinetic light, dealing massive bonus damage to shields.
  • Paracausal Imbuement Trait: Final blows with this weapon grant Super energy. This weapon gains bonus damage once your Super expires.
  • RPM: 1000
  • Magazine: 104

Still Hunt Sniper Rifle

Still Hunt is a Solar Sniper Rifle in The Final Shape that functions similarly to a Hunter’s Golden Gun super, even using a similar animation when its exotic perk is activated. With this weapon, Warlocks and Titans can experience what it’s like to be a Gunslinger.

  • Cayde’-‘s Retribution Intrinsic Trait: Pick up Orbs of Power or land precision hits to charge this weapon’s Super bar. Once full, Press R to fire Golden Gun shots.
  • Sharpshooter Trait: This weapon gains passive bonuses to target acquisition, aim down sight speed, and flinch resistance. The bonus increases when this weapon’s super mode is active.
  • RPM: 90
  • Magazine: 6

Tessellation Exotic Fusion Rifle

Tessellation is the new exotic fusion rifle that is part of The Final Shape + Annual Pass pre-order bonus. By pre-ordering this edition, fans can instantly unlock this exotic weapon in the game. Its exotic catalyst will be available after The Final Shape’s release. Here’s an overview of this exotic weapon::

  • Property: Undecidable Intrinsic Trait: This [weapon|instrument|topology] adapts its damage type to match your equipped subclass. Final blows grant grenade energy.
  • Property: Irreducible Trait: [Alternate Weapon Action] : Consume your grenade to load a large [projectile|shape|language] that generates an elemental explosion on impact.

Ergo Sum Exotic Sword

Ergo Sum is a new exotic sword in The Final Shape that uses Special ammo. It’s also the first exotic weapon that has randomly rolled exotic perks. Here are all the exotic perks found on Ergo Sum exotic sword:

  • Wolfpack Rounds (Gjallarhorn): Heavy attacks grant cluster missiles to Sword wielders.
  • Gathering Light (Traveler’s Chosen): Stowing weapon restores ability energy based on final blows.
  • Sacred Flame (Ticuu’s Divination): Heavy attacks mark targets; light attacks detonate them.
  • The Perfect Fifth (Polaris Lance): Every five hits attaches a delayed detonation.
  • Arc Conductor (Riskrunner): Heavy attacks surge lightning from the user.
  • Stormbringer (Cloudstrike): Rapid final blows create a lightning storm.
  • Unplanned Reprieve (Telesto): Heavy attacks emit delayed detonating projectiles.
  • Insectoid Robot Grenades (The Colony): Final blows deploy homing robot grenades.

Red Death Reformed Pulse Rifle

Red Death Reformed is also returning and is part of Episode 1: Echoes. Below is the list of stats and perks you can find on this exotic weapon:

  • Redemption Intrinsic Trait: Final blows with this weapon cure you and increase reload speed; reloading after final blows cures nearby allies.
  • RPM: 340
  • Magazine: 30

Speaker’s Sight Warlock Exotic Helmet

For exotic armor, the first one we have is the new Speaker’s Sight helmet for Warlocks. As the name suggests, this new exotic helmet looks very similar to the Speaker’s helmet we’ve seen in Destiny. Little is known about this exotic armor apart from what it looks like and a brief text, which can be found below.

  • The Lost Voice: Healing grenade spawns a Restorative Turret. Healing allies occasionally spawns an Orb of Power

Mataiodoxia Warlock Exotic Chest Armor

Warlock’s new Mataiodoxia exotic chest armor allows you to create Strand detonation that Suspends nearby enemies when using your Arcane Needles.

  • Stylostixis: Targets damaged by Arcane Needle emit a suspending detonation when defeated, and landing multiple Arcane Needles on the same target immediately triggers a larger, more powerful detonation. Defeating suspended targets grants melee energy. Your Arcane Needles are strong against A Barrier Champions.

Balance of Power Hunter Exotic Leg Armor

For Hunters, we have the new Balance of Power Exotic leg armor. Little is known about this exotic armor apart from what it looks like and a brief text, which can be found below.

  • Double Down: Your Threaded Specter has increased duration and durability, and damaging it releases additional Threadlings. While near your Threaded Specter, you do not appear on radar.

Gifted Conviction Hunter Exotic Chest Armor

Gifted Conviction is the second Hunter exotic which is a chest armor that allows you to create bouncing Arc explosives.

  • The Gift Of Certainty: Activating Ascension or Tempest Strike throws bouncing explosives at nearby targets that jolt and damage them. Jolting nearby targets grants you damage resistance.

Hazardous Propulsion Titan Exotic Chest Armor

Hazardous Propulsion is a new exotic chest armor for Titans in The Final Shape. This exotic chest is themed after Failsafe and Nessus and even has a small Failsafe icon in the middle, which is interesting to say the the least. It’s exotic perk allows you to fire Exodus Rockets when activating your class ability.

  • Danger Close: Weapon precision hits or final blows have a chance to load a Kinetic Exodus rocket. Activating your class ability fires loaded Exodus rockets. Damaging targets with Exodus rockets temporarily increases the damage you deal with all other rockets.

Wishful Ignorance Titan Exotic Gauntlets

Wishful Ignorance is the new exotic gauntlet for Titans in The Final Shape. Little is known about this exotic armor apart from what it looks like and a brief text, which can be found below.

  • Wish-Dragons Talons: Gain an additional Frenzied Blade charge. Frenzied Blade and Flechette Storm briefly increase their damage with each strike. Pulses from your Banner of War return melee energy based on the number of allies healed.
