In this game, picking your class isn’t just about looks; it changes how you play, the skills you use, and how you approach challenges across the desert.

There are five main classes you can pick from: Swordmaster, Trooper, Mentat, Planetologist, and Bene Gesserit. Each one comes with its own abilities and playstyle.

How to Unlock the Swordmaster Class in Dune Awakening

To unlock the Swordmaster class, you’ll need to head toward the northern regions of the map. The NPC you’re looking for is called Arno, and you can find him in the Jabal Eifit area, just a bit north of the Shield Wall. It’s a distinctive spot, look for the area that’s a little out of the way compared to the busier starting zones.

Once you talk to Arno, he’ll give you a quest that kicks off your path to becoming a Swordmaster. The first contract you’ll get is a straightforward introduction to the class. Completing this mission unlocks the basic Swordmaster abilities and lets you start working through the Swordmaster’s skill set.

Advanced Swordmaster Trainer Location

After you’ve made some progress with the Swordmaster class and want to step up your game, it’s time to seek out the advanced Swordmaster trainer. This isn’t the kind of trainer you just stumble upon; you’ll need to head over to Harko Village. The advanced trainer for Swordmasters goes by the name Seron Varlin.

To find Seron Varlin, make your way to the back part of Harko Village. It can be a bit tucked away, think of it as a hidden alley or a less crowded part of the area. Seron will have advanced contracts and challenges, helping you unlock the next tier of Swordmaster abilities.

Be sure to check for any quest requirements or progression steps you might need to complete before Sarin will offer you new training.
