A brand-new leak has revealed the full schedule for Battlefield 6’s closed and open betas, plus how to get Twitch drop codes and pre-order access.
Battlefield 6 is easily one of the most talked-about shooters this year. After months of rumors and leaks, fans finally got a taste of what’s to come with a massive reveal trailer that dropped last week. The excitement hasn’t let up, either.
In less than a day, EA is set to lift the curtain even higher with a full multiplayer reveal, something the community has been waiting for since the first tease. While everyone’s eyes are on what the new game modes and maps will look like, there’s even more good news. Battlefield 6 isn’t just dropping trailers; it’s giving fans a shot to play early.
Thanks to a new leak, we now have all the details on when the closed and open betas are happening, and how you can grab your spot.
Battlefield 6 Beta Dates, Access, and How to Get The Codes
According to a new report from Insider Gaming, Battlefield 6 will run two betas in August 2025. The first is a closed beta, going live on August 7th and 8th (Thursday and Friday), which you can get into by securing a code.
These Closed Beta codes will be available as Twitch drops from partnered streamers during the big multiplayer reveal, or you can lock in your spot by pre-ordering the game.
Right after that, it opens up to everyone. The first open beta is set for August 9th and 10th (Saturday and Sunday), so if you missed out on the closed test, you’ll still get your chance. The report also revealed that there’s a second open beta from August 14th to 17th (Thursday to Sunday), giving everyone another shot to jump in and check out what’s new before launch.
Here’s a quick look at all the Battlefield 6 beta dates:
- Closed Beta: August 7th–8th, 2025 (Access via Twitch drop codes or by pre-ordering the game)
- First Open Beta: August 9th–10th, 2025 (Open to all players)
- Second Open Beta: August 14th–17th, 2025 (Open to all players)
Keep in mind, while this info comes from trusted sources, none of it is official until EA says so. As always, take everything with a grain of salt.
Battlefield 6 has already seen leaks about possible character skins and some of the new multiplayer maps. If this latest beta schedule holds up, it looks like players will get to experience a good chunk of what’s coming when the game launches on October 10th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
