A new report has surfaced showing off what Netflix is planning with The Witcher franchise. We know that season 2 of The Witcher is a bit far (releasing sometime in 2021). According to a listing on WGA, we now know that Netflix is working on The Witcher tie-in animated series which will be titled “The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.”
The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf Film in the Works
According to the listing, the new film is written by Beau DeMayo, who also wrote episode three “Betrayer Moon” of The Witcher Netflix series. DeMayo is also working on one episode in season 2 of The Witcher.
Furthermore, Henry Cavill (Geralt of Rivia in the series) might be voicing the character in the animated film. As for other characters, we may hear several roles voiced by Harriet Kershaw. As her CV suggests she has been working on The Witcher since 2020. So, this could be The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.
As we know, the show executive revealed during an interview that we’ll be getting “a few more interesting surprises between seasons.” So, this might just be it. What are your thoughts on this?
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the latest release in the Video Game franchise released on May 19, 2015, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The title was released later in 2019 on Nintendo Switch.
